Pesticides on Produce
August 26th, 2007Yesterday we shopped at our local produce store. The plums looked delicious but had the usual white film - wax and pesticides!! I washed with ToxicFree dish soap until the plum was squeeky clean. I realized that for many years - childhood and onward - I never new the hazards of pesticide covered produce!!! I’m grateful to be able to make that difference in my family’s life. I urge EVERYONE to be sure to clean well before dining well.
