Yesterday we shopped at our local produce store. The plums looked delicious but had the usual white film - wax and pesticides!! I washed with ToxicFree dish soap until the plum was squeeky clean. I realized that for many years - childhood and onward - I never new the hazards of pesticide covered produce!!! I’m grateful to be able to make that difference in my family’s life. I urge EVERYONE to be sure to clean well before dining well. For more information on effective agents contact us info@ToxicPreventionSpecialist.com

I met a young couple from Russia that had been near the nuclear disaster many years ago. The wife suffered from Chronic Anemial and the husband low sperm count. All this was from exposure to the radiation. Currently, there is a lot of documentation about the effects on fertility from Toxic Household Chemicals. It is time we all take the easy steps to secure our homes and make them safe from outgassing and direct contact from Toxic Household Chemicals. For personal discussion, contact us info@ToxicPreventionSpecialist.com

Yesterday we noted the increase of documented outgassing in new automobiles. Previously we have mentioned the outgassing from traditional grocery store shelves. In addition, we have written about the importance of using No VOC paints in order to avoid the outgassing effect. These are only a few places to mention; the list goes on and on. Perhaps the most important tool we can assist you to develop is your mind! Yes, your mind!!! Be thoughtful of where you are going, what you are purchasing and how you are feeling. Outgassing is very incidious; it can happen if we are not paying attention to what is around us and how we are feeling. According to a recent study by the Ecology Center in Ann Arbor, Mich., the answer is yes. The group analyzed the elemental composition of over 200 late-model cars, trucks and SUVs for off-gassing chemicals from interior auto parts. The chemicals of concern for the Ecology Center were bromine from flame-retardants, chlorine from PVC and plasticizers, lead and other heavy metals. The use of these chemicals has been known to cause birth defects, liver toxicity, cancer and certain allergies. According to the Ecology Center, “since the average American spends more than one-and-a-half hours in a car every day, toxic chemical exposure inside vehicles is a major source of potential indoor air pollution.” For more information contact us at info@ToxicPreventionSpecialists.com

Beware of the home cleaning products used around children. Recently, a toddler put his mouth on the TV console that had been cleaned with a traditional household cleaner. His mouth burned, face swelled and was rushed to the emergency room where he was treated. Kids are curious and the little kids attempt to put EVERYTHING in their mouth - even a large TV consule!!! Don’t use cleaners with toxic chemicals. Many have dioxin and phenols - the chemicals found in Agent Orange! Find alternatives!! Email us at
