It’s summer and there is an abundance of locally grown produce. The benefits are great! First of all the fruits and vegetables are ripened in the ground so they are able to benefit from the nutrients from the ground. Secondly, there is no need to spray pesticides on the the products like produce that arrives from other countries. Another wonderful advantage - especially during these economic times - is that we are keeping the revenues local and helping the economy of those in our local communities. Perhaps there is a lot to be said for “subsistence” and for “community.” Just like raising children takes a village so does sustaining a community. When I was growing up formaldehyde was for dead bodies! Plus, the chemical was called by it’s name, formaldehyde. Today, there are over 30-40 brand names for this chemical. The only constant is “Quanternium-15″ which is the formaldehyde releaser. Therefore, look at traditional baby products and other consumables for the ingredient Quanternium-15. You can be sure that the product also contains formaldehyde!
